On the way back to Werder we stopped at the picturesque town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. You can happily spend a whole day here but we had to get back on the bus after an hour to continue the long journey back 'home'. Our trip to the Schwarzwald has been an amazing
experience for everyone, in particular spending time in the snow. In the morning we said good bye to the lovely hostel staff by singing the NZ anthem and decorating their visitors' book with creative pictures. With the arrival of warm spring weather, everybody is now looking forward to spending another weekend with their host families in and around Werder.
