Today we went to Colmar, France, which is just on the border of France and Germany. Being able to drive from one country to another was a whole new experience for a lot of us as our closest country is 3 hours away by plane. Colmar was a beautiful, traditional little town with markets and Easter celebrations. We were taken on a tour around the town seeing old, colorful and traditional buildings. By being in France we were all a bit thrown off by the change of language as we knew about 2 words. However, some of the boys still managed to order snails which they say were nice but I highly doubt that. With 3 hours to explore we saw many amazing things including 5 stores and 1 street called Fleur, woo! France is an amazing country and we all hope to go back one day! Thank you Frau Z, Frau D for organizing it and to Boris (bus driver) for getting us there
